What is contained in a CycleVIN Motorcycle History Report?

We include all pertinent data to the history of the bike, such as where and when it was titled, any reported maintenance that has been performed, the manufacturer’s specifications, and all accident, salvage, and auction history.

NOTE: CycleVIN does NOT provide personal owner information such as name, address, or any other personal identifying information of previous motorcycle owners. This is against Federal privacy laws and CycleVIN, nor any other VIN Check Service, can legally provide this information

When is a good time to purchase a CycleVIN Motorcycle History Report?

Most of our customers purchase our accident reports when they are in the process of buying or selling a used bike. Whether you are buying from a private seller, a dealership, or any other method, it is highly import to purchase an accident history report to know that you are not buying a damaged or stolen bike.

There is no bad time to purchase a VIN check report, and the report is emailed to you for permanent storage. It never expires, but as the vehicle accumulates more history, the report will not be automatically updated.

What does it mean when I see the message “No VIN Records Found”?

While we attempt to include every motorcycle in our database, we rely on the information from our partners to provide you a report. In some cases, we will not yet have your bike in our database. Please check back every 30 days to see if the bike has been added to the database.

How is my Motorcycle History Report delivered to me when I purchase?

The report will be presented in PDF format, which makes it easy to store on your computer, email, or print at your convenience.

We do not force our customers to create an account or log in when purchasing, so your report must be printed, saved, or emailed when you purchase. This way you can keep the VIN report for as long as you would like.
