If you’ve never been to someone’s 90th birthday party, it’s light on roar, speed, whoop and adrenaline.

Ducati’s 90th, however, coming up July 1-2 at the Marco Simoncelli Misano World Circuit next to the town of Misano Adriatico in Italy, promises to be a spirited bash indeed. It’s a long weekend of motorcycles, music, mixing-and-mingling and celebrating the continued grandezza of this iconic, art-on-wheels, ultra-exclusive brand.

Just how large a party is it? In 2014, it was “Table for 65,000, please,” with attendees from five continents and 56 countries. This year, some of the highlighted bikes include the 959 Panigale, Scrambler Sixty2, 939 Hypermotard, XDiavel and the Multistrada Enduro, all pictured here. Each bike will be available for testing along with many other festivities planned, such as the “Land of Joy” for Scrambler lovers and the Ducati Riding Experience for some on-track time.

Also present will be Ducati Corse pilots and the new ambassador for the Borgo Panigale-based brand, two-time MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner. And if you don’t know who Casey Stoner is, it’s probably because the 30-year-old Australian champ went by you at 172 MPH, as he did in Spain in 2007.

Outside the event, too, it’s summer Italian-style along the Romagnola Riviera and the city of Bologna. But the main attraction are these beautiful, sweet machines.
