Albuquerque police are asking for tips after three custom motorcycles were stolen Friday night.

Joseph Vigil brought the bikes to town for a car show at Rock and Brews this weekend. The motorcycles were inside a trailer.

Investigators say the trailer was taken near Candelaria and Palomas. According to Vigil, he parked the trailer at a friend’s house in preparation for the show.

Vigil says each bike is a Harley Davidson that he customized himself. He says altogether the bikes are worth an estimated $120,000.

“They’re my life,” Vigil said. “I put all my money into them, and some worthless guy comes and takes them. It’s hard.”

Vigil says that he’s taken the bikes to shows from California all the way to Ohio. Neighbors tell Vigil that they saw a black truck hauling away his trailer.

“They said it drove up with the lights off, backed up next to the trailer, hooked it up and then took off,” Vigil said. “These people who don’t have anything come steal important stuff like this and make everyone else’s life miserable.”

Vigil says he’s not just losing money, but the countless hours he spent making the bikes his very own.

If you know where Vigil’s bikes are or see them, call Albuquerque police.
